M:

How do you move on?

F:

Emil Stern, who inherited this barn and utility building after the violent death of his father Hermann on March 25, 1933, left Creglingen in 1939. Since then, there has been no Jewish life locally.

Nevertheless, some objects have survived, to serve as reminders of a shared past. They have been donated, or are on loan to the museum.

M:

In our oversize type case, you’ll meet some Jewish people through the objects they owned, left behind, collected, and presented to the museum.

The media station on your left includes information about the Jewish faith and way of life, about customs and rituals. Just see what you find.
