Station: [11] Junkers Aircraft Engines

In the years 1913 to 1915 a Junkers engine factory existed in Magdeburg. In 1935, a plant for the production of engines was built again.  Motors were mainly built for the strengthening German air force.  On the left you can see a functioning unit. In addition, there is a cutaway model of the Jumo 004. This was the world’s first mass produced jet engine. It was installed in various types of aircraft.
