Station: [12] Heinrich Hege

“Heinrich von Hege is an important person, if the castle should be built successfully. The carpenter is currently marking the cutting points for the strong beams that will later be used to construct the truss. Everything has to go according to plan. The other carpenters on the castle roof are counting on every beam fitting exactly. Mistakes mustn’t be made, as this is very hard work. Many beams and planks will have to be heaved to great heights. This takes a great deal of strength. That’s why an apprenticeship to become a carpenter can only be undertaken as of the age of fourteen.”
