Station: [37] The Burning Bush

Moses discovers a burning bush that is not being consumed by the fire. Curious, he approaches it. Then a voice speaks to him: “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Then the speaker introduces himself: “I am the God of your fathers and mothers.” I am who I am. God commands Moses to lead the Israelites to freedom. Moses refuses, but when God becomes angry, he relents.
