Station: [10] Lake / Amethyst druse behind glass
Now we have arrived at the second water surface—our underground lake.
It was also formed due to accumulating rainwater and extends far into the cave-like expanses of the mountain.
Here in the foreground is our huge "dinosaur foot," bejeweled with a variety of amethyst druses and rock crystals. Definitely a wonderful photo opportunity.
On the ceiling, behind the glass pane, you can see the most beautiful and largest amethyst druse found here in the mountain. Unfortunately, only a third of its original size remains. Visitors in the past have gradually destroyed it by breaking off pieces with pocket knives or car keys. That is why the protective glass pane was installed.
