The state-recognized spa resort of Bad Bellingen, with its districts of Bamlach, Hertingen and Rheinweiler, is nestled among the Markgräfler vineyard slopes and the fertile Rhine plain.
Bad Bellingen owes its designation to the Balinea Thermen, which are popular with wellness and therapy guests for their health-promoting effects, thanks to one of Germany’s finest thermal waters. The Balinea Thermen are surrounded by the Bad Bellingen spa park, which, with a natural riparian forest and a well-maintained park landscape, lets spa guests gaze out over a vast green oasis.
In the Hertingen district lies Landhaus Ettenbühl—an English landscape garden covering more than 7 hectares, with a typical English restaurant and guesthouse as well as the associated rose and perennial nursery. With great attention to detail, more than 20 themed gardens have been created, which can be visited individually or as part of a guided garden tour.
Golfers will find a varied playing experience at the Drei Thermen Golf Resort in the Bamlach district, with 4 x 18-hole courses and a special view over the Rhine Valley, to the Vosges, the Swiss Alps and the Black Forest.
