Description

Experience the world: Rosenheim offers a center of exhibition culture right in the middle of the Munich - Salzburg - Innsbruck triangle with the Lokschuppen. The cultural heart of the city of Rosenheim is semi-circular: An old locomotive shed that was transformed into a gem in 1988. It became one of Germany´s most beautiful exhibition centers, awarded by the Association of German Architects. The Lokschuppen is known for its regional and special exhibitions, combining a solid scientific basis with elaborate and aesthetically demanding design. With up to 280,000 visitors per year, the Lokschuppen is among the ten most successful exhibition venues in Germany. The exhibition house has made a successful career – from a railway shed in 1858 to a successful and nationally significant crowd-puller with quality standards.
