Description

The Dreieich Museum is located in the midst of the ruins of Hayn Castle, which was built in the late 11th century. In addition to the various temporary exhibitions presented on the ground floor, the museum features a permanent exhibition on the upper floor. This exhibition spans 1000 years, from the medieval forest protection in the Dreieich landscape to the regional reform, during which five towns merged to form the city of Dreieich. It is also a great destination for the whole family: the museum offers numerous interactive stations inviting visitors to participate. The Dreieich Museum is the winner of the 2018 Museum Award and has won the "Museum of the Month" award multiple times.

Das Dreieich-Museum liegt inmitten der Ruine der Burg Hayn, die im ausgehenden 11. Jahrhundert errichtet wurde. Die Burganlage ist frei zugänglich. Im ehemaligen Wassergraben der Burg Hayn, direkt hinter dem Museum, lädt ein Spielplatz zum Toben, Picknicken und Verweilen ein.
