Description

Enkircher Heimatstuben-Museum

A gem of village history with artifacts from the Stone, Bronze, and Hallstatt periods, from the Roman past, and the Middle Ages.

Upon entering the half-timbered house, built in the 16th century, you feel transported to another time and another world.

The small Enkirch local history museum, with its many finds and exhibits, not only gives a great impression of the historical past of the old wine village of ANCHIRIACUM-ANKARACHA-ENKRICHA, as it was formerly known, but also of the daily life and work of the inhabitants of the old Moselle village in times gone by.
