The Eggenfelden Museum is a private institution run by the Verein Feuerwehr Eggenfelden e. V. It is housed on the upper floor of the red building that is part of the new fire station. We preserve and convey the rich history of firefighting from the past to the present.
Our origins lie in the dedicated collecting work of the museum’s founder since the 1970s. In approximately 150 m² we now exhibit equipment, badges, uniforms and documents from home and abroad in a modern, inventoried display. In doing so, we aim to make the historical changes in firefighting technology and the everyday life of emergency personnel tangible.
