The Goslar Museum offers fascinating insights into the over 1100-year history of the city, as well as into the geology and mineralogy of the region. The museum´s extensive collection includes, among other things, the famous Krodo Altar from the early 12th century, the Goslar Gospel Book from the 13th century, a coin collection featuring over 1000 Goslar mintings, the "Bergkanne" from 1477, and the original Goslar Fountain Eagle from the 14th century. Visitors can also glimpse into the daily life of a city dweller in the 10th century.
