Description
Das Kunstmuseum Thurgau setzt mit seiner hochkarätigen Sammlung sowie attraktiven Wechselausstellungen einen spannenden Gegenpol zur Vergangenheitsidylle des ehemaligen Klosters in der Kartause Ittingen. Den Kern des Museums bildet die seit 1942 bestehende kantonale Kunstsammlung, die unter anderem die Nachlässe von Adolf Dietrich, Carl Roesch und Hans Krüsi umfasst. Insgesamt verwaltet das Museum über 30 000 Sammlungsobjekte, von der Fotografie über Zeichnungen und Gemälden bis zur raumgreifenden Installation.
