Description
A large garden as far as the eye can see
‘An Italian-style villa, intended only for the beautiful season and in the mildest part of the kingdom’ - King Ludwig I of Bavaria (1786 - 1868) realised this wish with Villa Ludwigshöhe Castle near Edenkoben.
The classicist villa, reminiscent of antique models, impresses with its precious wooden floors, rich ceiling and wall paintings and a unique view over the Palatinate and the Rhine plain.
