Vogtland open-air museum shows life in the past
The Vogtland Open-Air Museum with its Landwüst and Eubabrunn sites offers a fascinating insight into the rural way of life over 100 years ago. On the idyllic grounds with gardens, meadows and fields, six historic farmsteads come to life, interweaving history and nature in a unique way and inviting visitors to slow down.

The museum documents and shows the vanished world of rural farmers. Life, living and working become tangible for visitors in the well-preserved farm buildings in the typical regional architectural style, with equipment, tools and furniture, clothing and customs. You can almost smell the aroma of freshly baked bread and crushed grain coming from the traditional buildings.

Historic gardens and lots of animals 
Colourful flowers, local fruit, vegetables and fragrant herbs delight the senses in the recreated farm gardens. Children will particularly enjoy the experiences with the farm's own animals, such as goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens and the horse. Apart from the bees, everything wants to be stroked. The Vogtland Open-Air Museum owes its existence to the persistent efforts of Walter Wunderlich, a farmer from Landwüst.

Vogtlandský skanzen ukazuje život v minulosti
Skanzen Vogtland s areály Landwüst a Eubabrunn nabízí fascinující pohled na způsob života na venkově před 100 lety. V idylickém areálu se zahradami, loukami a poli ožívá šest historických zemědělských usedlostí, které jedinečným způsobem prolínají historii a přírodu a vybízejí návštěvníky ke zpomalení.

Muzeum dokumentuje a ukazuje zaniklý svět venkovských zemědělců. Život, bydlení a práce se pro návštěvníky stávají hmatatelnými v zachovalých hospodářských budovách v typickém regionálním architektonickém stylu, s vybavením, nářadím a nábytkem, oděvy a zvyky. Z tradičních budov téměř dýchá vůně čerstvě upečeného chleba a nadrceného obilí.

Historické zahrady a spousta zvířat
Pestrobarevné květiny, místní ovoce, zelenina a voňavé bylinky potěší smysly v obnovených zahradách statku. Děti si užijí zejména zážitky s vlastními zvířaty na farmě, jako jsou kozy, ovce, králíci, slepice a kůň. Kromě včel se všechno chce nechat pohladit.
