[7] Felsenkeller

Description

From the Felsenkeller, visitors can enjoy views of the local city wall facing the Main River. The fully walkable fortifications date back to the time when the town was granted city rights around 500 years ago. Many of the original 40 towers in Dettelbach have been preserved. Most are still owned by the city, while some are privately used as residential towers or holiday apartments.
