Here you can experience the history of the town at first hand. In the Museum am Markt, Schiltach presents itself as a town rich in tradition in the Kinzig valley. The permanent exhibition tells the story of the famous devil of Schiltach, explains the beautiful half-timbered houses of Schiltach in a playful way and delves into the exciting transformation into a modern industrial town.
The museum regularly shows special exhibitions on art and everyday life.
