Description

Since 1588, a mosaic cross with the initials of the St. John's Brotherhood has been embedded in the bottom of the Kreuzrinne. Beneath it is a bottle containing the charter of the brotherhood. Every year on St. John's Day, the 27th of December, the stone is surrounded and kissed by the unmarried members of this Bachelor Brotherhood to emphasize their commitment to tradition in line with the shooting motto "Faith - Custom - Homeland".
