Description

The former Venlo-Herongen airfield is located on the city areas of Stralen-Herongen, Nettetal-Leuth, and Venlo. Thus, the area is situated on the border of the two states, Germany and the Netherlands. The site covers approximately 1800 hectares and is situated within the territory of today's Schwalm-Nette Nature Park.
