Description
The building, conspicuous because of its façade painting in the Mannerist style, is representative of numerous estates referred to as ‚noble courts‘. These belonged to members of the lower knightly nobility who, as so-called ministerials, were in the service of the Bishop of Worms and later also of the Heidelberg Elector. This noble court was founded in 1475 by Diether von Handschuhsheim.
