[2] Forest Clima Trail

Description

The Forest Climate Trail in Neuhausen, located in the Enzkreis district, offers visitors the opportunity to experience the forest from a new perspective. Along the trail, the close relationship between forests and climate is clearly explained, as well as the changes already being caused by climate change.

At several information stations, the Forest Climate Trail explains the effects of climate change on forests and shows how tree species, soils, and ecosystems are changing. In addition, the trail highlights the role of sustainable forest management and presents measures that can help forests adapt to future climate conditions.

The trail is aimed at adults, families, school groups, and all those interested in learning more about the relationship between climate, the environment, and forests. By combining nature experiences with knowledge sharing, the topic of climate change is presented in a clear and tangible way.

The Forest Climate Trail in Neuhausen invites visitors to experience the forest consciously, understand ecological connections, and develop a deeper appreciation for the protection and sustainable use of our forests.

The Forest Climate Trail is supported by the “Walderlebnis Enzkreis” app, which can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store.

The climate trail is largely barrier-free. A short section that is not barrier-free can be bypassed via a forest path and is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
