Mit der Ausstellung "Homosexualität_en" präsentieren das Schwule Museum*
und das Deutsche Historische Museum erstmals eine umfassende Schau zu Geschichte, Politik und Kultur der Homosexualität. Auf insgesamt 1.600 Quadratmetern werden der gesellschaftliche Umgang mit Homosexualität unter Aspekten sozialer, juristischer und wissenschaftlicher Repression und die schrittweise Emanzipation seit dem späten 19. Jahrhundert bis in die Gegenwart thematisiert. Die gemeinsam von der Kulturstiftung des Bundes und der Kulturstiftung der Länder geförderte Ausstellung findet vom 26. Juni bis 1. Dezember 2015 im Schwulen Museum* und im Deutschen Historischen Museum statt.

The Schwules Museum* and the Deutsches Historisches Museum present the exhibition “Homosexuality_ies” from 26 June to 1 December 2015.
This special exhibition on view at both museums offers an overview of the history, politics and culture of homosexual people. Jointly funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation and the Cultural Foundation of the German Laender, it puts the political contribution the homosexual liberation movements made toward the development of our democratic society in the visual range of a broader public for the first time.
