The Zander Collection is unique in its focus, with around 4,500 works by self-taught artists. Charlotte Zander (1930-2014) put together the collection in over 60 years, including Morris Hirshfield, Seraphiné Louis, Henri Rousseau, Sava Sekulić, Adalbert Trillhaase and Adolf Wölfli. As well as making the works available to museums around the world for exhibition projects, the Zander Collection cooperates with curators and researchers internationally to enable a broad discussion of the works of self-taught artists. In its own space, changing exhibitions offer an insight into the collection.
