Description
The area of the municipal building in which the museum is located is currently closed for structural reasons.
World´s largest collection of paper cut artists Father Hans (1877-1955) and Josefine (1904-1977) Allmayer. Josefine Allmayer is the most important Austrian paper cutting artist. 2,000 silhouettes, plus 4-5,000 sketches, studies and drafts, 500 specimen copies (books, notebooks, magazines, calendars, etc.) as well as 1,000 artist cards with images of their silhouettes,Large collection of Chinese paper cutouts.
Other collections:
Local history collection, unique gastronomy collection of the former chef at the Hotel Inter-Continental in Vienna and President of the Association of Austrian Chefs, Herbert Hüpfel, commercial collection, wagon castle with large commercial and agricultural equipment, including the only mobile field oven from the monarchy preserved in Austria, militaria collection Focus on catering.
Museum shop: numerous books edited by the museum itself, sale of Allmayer artist cards, sale of original silhouettes by the Austrian artist Hildegard Adamowicz (1922-2013)
