The small but fine teasury of St. Agatha shows precious things from Alverskirchen´s 800-years church history, like paintings, textiles and gold or silversmith´s work.
Further exhibts can be viewed in the adjecent "old rectory". These include flags, nativity figures and other valuable vestments of three centuries, some of which are still in lithurgical use today.
The voluntary association "Friends of the Treasury" has been looking after the museum since 2012. Our goal is to maintain the rich collection, present it to a broad public and thus preserve a piece of living religious history.
