The rock garden was collected over several years by Gerhard Jahn, a member of the local history and heritage association. The collection showcases the most important types of rocks from our immediate surroundings between Vogelsberg, Spessart, and Rhön in the form of large blocks. For example, a 250 million-year-old colourful sandstone rock that was found on the Aufenauer Berg highway construction site in 1984 (No. 12). The information board provides an overview, and all objects are equipped with information plaques.
