In October 2015, the Geierlay suspension bridge was opened. It spans the valley between the municipality of Mörsdorf and Sosberg and is the main tourist attraction of the entire region, Hunsrück, Mosel, Eifel. Since its opening, approximately 200,000 visitors come to the Geierlay annually. With its 360 meters length and 100 meters height, it is one of the most beautiful suspension bridges in Germany. It can only be reached on foot from both villages, taking about 20 minutes.
