Designed and built for the Sexauer family as a representative city-style late Neoclassic building in 1832-1835 by a Freiburg architect. It served as residence and business premises, later as operational center for wine merchants with numerous utility buildings and servants’ quarters. Private property until the 1960s, it subsequently served as City Hall with domiciles. Today it is the City Hall.Complete renovations were carried out in 1996-1999.
