Our districts of Neuenkirchen and Vörden, together with the seven farming communities of Bieste, Campemoor, Grapperhausen, Hinnenkamp, Hörsten, Nellinghof and Wenstrup, form a powerful unit in the southernmost tip of the Oldenburger Münsterland in the middle of beautiful nature. As part of the regional reform on March 1, 1974, Vörden and Neuenkirchen became a municipality that has had the double name Neuenkirchen-Vörden since October 1, 1993. Facilities for everyday needs and a wide range of leisure activities for every age group thanks to numerous clubs are available in both districts - and that's not the only reason why we are "twice as good together". Family-friendliness and integration are very important to us. People from more than 70 nations live together in Neuenkirchen-Vörden. Our craft and commercial businesses as well as the Niedersachsenpark, the largest intermunicipal commercial and industrial area in Lower Saxony, offer a wide range of jobs.
