Station: [7] Castle grounds and courtyard

The appearance of the castle has changed many times. A medieval castle already stood here in the 13th century.
Parts of the old castle walls were integrated into the Renaissance castle in the 16th century. The gables, towers and arcades have now disappeared, but the outer walls still correspond to the original shape of the castle.
The medieval fountain in the castle courtyard was rediscovered and reconstructed in the 1930s.
