Station: [13] New Station

Peter speaks: “But Jesus, we’ve been fishing all night. You know that. And now we’re sitting here, frustrated, cleaning our nets. And all the time you’ve been preaching—yes, for so long—have you ever cleaned the nets? I wondered. And now you’re sending us back out into the middle of the lake. You couldn’t think of anything more stupid. Look at the basket. There’s no'’s a fish in there. All night long. Don’t you get it? Not a single fish. But good old Andrew—Jesus said we had to go out again. So we go out, and Peter shouts, “Come help! Look at this school of fish! Fish! Fish! Fish! James, John, come quick, come quick!” With the nets, yes. And the boats almost sank. Peter falls to his knees before Jesus. “Wake up. I don’t like you. I’m not a good person.” But Jesus replies, “Now you will buy enslaved people and lead them to freedom.”
