Station: [42] Paul's Prison

You’re here in prison? I’m glad you’re visiting me. Don’t stare at my back like that. You know, in my previous life, I missed my chance. Even though I lived at the same time as Jesus. And now—now I can feel his presence. You know, it’s all going to turn out well. I’ve been living in this huge city—with 200,000 people—for almost three years now. In the world-famous, wealthy city of Ephesus. A large church has grown here, and I—I’ve ended up in prison. But I’m glad, because this is making it known in the highest circles why I’m being held captive—because I’m a follower of Jesus. This is encouraging many others; they can see right here that this prison isn’t breaking me. If I have to die, I’m looking forward to being reunited with Christ.
