Beschreibung
Langenburg Castle is situated high up on a mountain spur above the River Jagst in Franconian-influenced north-eastern Baden-Württemberg. A visit to the castle museum provides a fascinating glimpse of the aristocratic lifestyle in days gone by. Areas open to the public include the stunning Renaissance courtyard, the chapel and a festive banqueting hall in the Baroque style. For some 500 years, the castle has served as the seat of the Hohenlohe-Langenburg family, who still live there now.
