Description

Surrounded by the slopes of the Black Forest, on the banks of the picturesque Schiltach River – that is where you will find Schramberg. But the stunning landscape is not the town’s only attraction; there is also its museum. Based at the castle, the lovingly assembled exhibition is in part devoted to the history of the Counts of Bissingen and Nippenburg, who built the neoclassical pile. Then, of course, there is Schramberg's success story as one of Württemberg’s main industrial centres. It features the history of stoneware production at the Schramberg majolica factory and of the Junghans clock and watch dynasty.
