Our Landmarks
Briedel is a wine-growing village on the Middle Moselle.
The village has Celtic and Roman origins. Quality winemaking has been documented here since the 6th century. Besides viticulture, agriculture and forestry on the Hunsrück hills belonging to the village, as well as tourism, are the main sources of income for the 1,000 inhabitants today.
The village's history and many detailed descriptions of the numerous listed historic half-timbered houses and other sights are extensively described on the website "www.kuladig.de". The descriptions are supplemented by digital audio clips and video sequences.
