Our Landmarks
Bad Überkingen is located in the Fils Valley at an altitude of 428 to 751 meters. It belongs to the Stuttgart region, on the outskirts of the Stuttgart metropolitan area. Population: 3,902.
The municipality consists of the four districts of Bad Überkingen, Hausen an der Fils, Oberböhringen, and Unterböhringen.
Bad Überkingen has a lot to offer! Surrounded by impressively rising beech and mixed forests, juniper heaths, and rose and hawthorn hedges, it provides a stunning natural backdrop in every season.
The elevation difference between the valley and the high plateau is over 300 meters. In between are romantic streams, orchard meadows, heathlands, and rocky biotopes!
