Description

The Franciscan Museum Villingen invites you on a journey of discovery through three millennia:
Tomb chamber and finds from the largest Celtic burial site in Central Europe: Celtic Prince´s Grave Magdalenenberg; the most significant folklore collection in the Black Forest; unique exhibition on the industrial age and life in a medieval town. History is made especially tangible for children in the former monastery complex. The well-known Villingen carnival figures also have a permanent place in the museum.
