The PEACE MUSEUM "Bridge at Remagen" is located in the left-bank towers of the former Ludendorff Bridge. It documents, at the historic site, the events surrounding the capture of the intact bridge by the U.S. Army on 7 March 1945. Deliberately founded not as a war museum but as a museum of peace, it is intended to be a place of learning for international understanding and peace work.
