The building now known as the "Schwind Pavilion" was erected in 1829–1839 by Rüdigsdorf manor owner Wilhelm Leberecht Crusius as a music salon adjoining an orangery. It was outfitted by renowned artists: ceiling paintings by court and decorative painters Otto Wagner and Gustav Adolf Hennig; decoration: Gottfried Semper revised a design by Woldemar Hermann from Dresden; a cycle of paintings "Amor and Psyche" by Moritz von Schwind and Leopold Schulz. The hall can be visited in the summer months (guided tours on the building´s history available on request). In addition, concerts take place from May to September. The hall is a popular venue for weddings. (Address for navigation only, no mail: Rüdigsdorf 35, 04654 Frohburg)
