Description
In the former Cistercian convent Machern, opposite the wine town of Zeltingen-Rachtig, visitors will find the aforementioned museum with various focuses: - Historical toys - focus from 1860 - 1930 - with approximately 3,000 exhibits. Historical dolls, tin toys, toy shops, kitchens, trains, and much more. - Icons from Russia, Ethiopia, and the Balkan countries - focus on the 18th & 19th centuries - over 200 exhibits - Permanent LEGO® exhibition - for young and young-at-heart visitors. - Additionally, there are changing special exhibitions. The bright rooms are accessible via an elevator and are barrier-free. Group programs, tours, school rallies, and more are regularly offered. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the exhibition. Individual entrance fee € 4.00 per person, children from 8 years old € 2.00.
