Description
Join us to discover the fascinating world of Kassel´s musical history! Our museum is a place where everyone can not only hear music, but also experience and touch it. You will find us in the beautiful Palais Bellevue building. Our museum is located on the first and second floors. Access is currently via the large green door at Schöne Aussicht 2.
Immerse yourself in the life and work of the renowned violinist and composer Louis Spohr on the first floor. The second floor takes you on a journey through the musical diversity of Kassel, from Heinrich Schütz and Gustav Mahler to beat, punk and techno. Finally, we return to Louis Spohr.
Our museum offers something for all the family! Children and adults can experiment together at our hands-on stations.
