The water tower was built in 1913 and stands 37 m high. At a height of 25 m, there is a riveted iron water tank that was capable of storing 150 cubic meters of water.
The water tower was decommissioned in 1978, declared a technical monument in 1990, and converted into an observation tower in 2006. Good accessibility is ensured by a newly installed spiral staircase.
A distant view is possible due to an inserted level in the water tank.
