Keeping "Sailor" Sid Diller's legacy alive, online, and free for all.
The Leather Archives & Museum, with support from the Association of Professional Piercers, is raising funds to fully digitize an amazing collection of photographs, films and papers from the legendary piercer "Sailor" Sid Diller.
The photographs, films and papers in the Sailor Sid collection are in a very fragile state. Photographs, letters and postcards from Sid are housed in plastic sleeves that are hazardous for their long term health. Reel films from Sid are dangerously close to deterioration.
The Leather Archives & Museum is pleased to announce the opening of its newest exhibit, Colorful Shades of BDSM & M/s: Watercolors by the International Master 2013. The exhibit will run from May 21st 2015 to January 10th 2016. Pieces from the show will be for sale. An opening reception will be held at the Leather Archives on May 21st 2015 from 7pm to 9pm. This reception is open to the adult public (18 and older) without charge. The artist will be present for the opening.
