Beschreibung

The WeinKulturGaden are the remaining six medieval to late medieval buildings of the former self-fortification of the parish church of St. Michael.Attached to the outer walls of the churchyards were windowless storerooms facing inwards, where harvest supplies could be safely stored in troubled times. The Gaden are among the oldest buildings in Thüngersheim, they were first mentioned in a Würzburg document as early as 1429/30. Today, after the loving renovation of the historic walls, the WeinKulturGaden are a haven for spiritual pleasures and inspiring encounters.
