About

Our Landmarks

Piesport is one of the largest wine-growing communities on the Moselle with world-famous vineyards and first-class winegrowers. Our 2,000 inhabitants live in a unique cultural landscape that is characterised by viticulture and nature and offers great recreational value for locals and guests. Numerous archaeological finds prove that the Romans lived and cultivated wine in Piesport, then Porto Pigontio, around 2,000 years ago.

We are proud of this cultural heritage and want to preserve it. We are equally proud of our Piesport winegrowers, many of whom regularly receive national and international awards for their outstanding wines.
