The museum in the Cistercian monastery of Lehnin is housed in the baroque office building from 1696. The permanent exhibition uses numerous historical and current documents and objects to illustrate how the Cistercian idea of living in the rhythm of "Ora et labora", "Pray and Work", is linked to this monastery building and has been carried out over the centuries.
