Since 2013, the Musica Viva e.V. support association has also taken on the task of setting up a Brandenburg organ museum in the church. The exhibition currently comprises seven organs (five of which are playable) as well as organ parts and information on the history of organ building in the region. Guided tours and sound samples of the instruments are available on request and by appointment.

On the first Saturday of the month from April to October, the tower trumpeter can be heard throughout the town at 6 pm.

The Reißiger House, the birthplace of Carl Gottlieb Reißiger, the former court conductor in Dresden, is located in the immediate vicinity of the church on the church square.
