[10] Zum Weinberg - To the vineyard

Description

The building “Zum Weinberg” in the heart of the old town was built in 1355 as a brewery in the brick Gothic style. Particularly worth seeing is the hallway of the house with its painted beamed ceiling (1648) and the half-timbered Baroque fittings. The building has been used as a wine shop since 1648 and was given the name "Zum Weinberg" in 1751. The “Weinberg” was extensively renovated by 2014 and now houses a restaurant.
