This small, classically-styled hall building, completed in 1825, is picturesquely situated on the 'Schlinge Creek' and features a delicate bell tower. The church is a historical gem of art, as for the first time in Westphalia, the Neo-Gothic style influenced by the neighboring Netherlands can be seen in the church windows.The evangelical congregation was served by the pastor from Gemen from its foundation in 1823 until 1963.
