Schneewittchen auf der Parkbank

Beschreibung

The Snow White figure was crafted from artificial stone by the artist Bettina Seitz, a native of Lohr (who lives and works in Ireland), and was installed in the municipal park as part of a beautiful celebration in June 2015.
The artist's interpretation of her Snow White:
"Snow White is innocent, loving, open, and attentive. Just like children who live in the present moment and express themselves spontaneously and without ulterior motives. When confronted with darker aspects such as envy, jealousy, and anger (embodied by the stepmother), Snow White ultimately triumphs with the help of allies (the dwarfs and the prince), embodying openness and benevolence, even though it may seem that harm will come.
In humans, both these positive and negative aspects are simultaneously present. However, if one manages to focus on the good aspects like children and feel self-love despite imperfections, in the end – as in the fairy tale – the loving forces prevail."
