[117] Lower Market Square with Fairy Tale Fountain

Description

The Fairy Tale Fountain on the Lower Market Square was created in 1933 by the Lohr sculptor Hermann Amrhein. The group of figures depicts the artistic representation of "Brüderchen und Schwesterchen" from the Grimm Brothers' fairy tale of the same name. To the left, the impressive Market Crucifix is mounted on the Old Town Hall, enriching the square with its unique presence.
